Brunswick’s 124-acre Maquoit Bay Conservation Area features a 0.6-mile trail that leads to a rocky outcrop overlooking the scenic bay. This municipal park offers hiking, dog walking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and hunting. Boasting over a mile of salt-water frontage on the bay, the conservation area nearly doubled the town’s public access to the water. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported acquisition of Maquoit Bay in 2007.
