Salmon Brook Lake Bog

Located in Perham, Salmon Brook Lake Bog is the centerpiece of an 1,857-acre public reserve that captures many ecological features characteristic of Maine’s northeastern limestone belt, including northern white cedar swamps and numerous rare plants. A trail leads hikers to the bog and a boat launch for small boats. Visitors will also find a multiple use trail available for ATV riders and others. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported acquisition of Salmon Brook Lake Bog in 1993.
