Aroostook Valley Trail

The Aroostook Valley Trail runs 28-miles, connecting the towns of Presque Isle, Caribou, Washburn, Woodland, and New Sweden. Visitors will find a gravel surface trail that is open year round to multiple uses, including: snowmobiling, ATV riding, hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Scenery varies from open fields to deep woods, and meanders along many streams and the Aroostook River. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of the Aroostook Valley Trail in 1992.
