Located in Rockport, the Beech Hill Preserve is an extraordinary hiking, picnicking and birding destination that offers panoramic views of Penobscot Bay, the Camden hills and the St. George peninsula. The nearly 300-acre preserve includes grassland bird habitat, organic blueberry production, and an historic sod-roof stone summit house. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of 195 acres of the preserve in 2004.
