Brave Boat Headwaters

The Kittery Land Trust’s 150-acre Brave Boat Headwaters Preserve invites the public to explore a 1.5-mile trail network through wildlife-rich forest habitats. Adjacent to the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge and other protected lands, Brave Boat Headwaters is located within the Mount A to Sea Conservation Area. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of 55 acres of the preserve in 2017.
