Frenchman’s Hole

Located in Bethel, Frenchman’s Hole is a scenic waterfall and popular swimming spot located near the Sunday River Resort. Frenchman’s Hole is along Bull Branch Stream and is part of the 9,974-acre Mahoosuc Public Reserve. Visitors reach the falls and swimming hole via a short trail. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of 385 acres surrounding Frenchman’s Hole in 2003.
