Located in Casco, Naples, and Otisfield, the 5,000-acre Jugtown Forest includes valuable habitat for turkey, moose, waterfowl, and landlocked salmon. Maintained as a working forest, the land is available to the public for hiking, biking, ATVing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of the 3,281-acre Jugtown Forest conservation easement in 2002.
