Mitchell Ledge Farm

Located in Freeport, 185-acre Mitchell Ledge Farm features pastures and hay fields, woodlands and streams, and a herd of award-winning purebred registered Belted Galloway beef cattle. Farm operations also include extensive timber management, resulting in the sustainable production and sale of logs, pulpwood and firewood. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the conservation of Mitchell Ledge Farm in 2007.
