Plaisted Preserve

Conserved in partnership with the Georges River Land Trust, the 18-acre Plaisted Preserve owned and managed by the town of Owls Head. Visitors explore the property’s half-mile trail network that weaves through spruce and moss to the shores of Broad Cove. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of 7 additional acres to the preserve in 2022.
