The River-Link is a trail and wildlife corridor on the Boothbay Peninsula that connects the Damariscotta and Marsh Rivers. Open year round, the five-mile long River-Link hiking trail begins at Dodge Point in Newcastle and heads south into Edgecomb, connecting multiple conservation lands. There are opportunities to hike, snowshoe, hunt, birdwatch, and observe wildlife along the way. Between 2004 and 2012, the Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of 381 acres within the River-Link Corridor.
