Talking Brook Public Land

Located in New Gloucester, this 200-acre public land is co-managed by the Royal River Conservation Trust (RRCT). This conservation area features maturing forests, scenic waterfalls, more than four miles of trails, extensive wetlands, and habitat for white-tailed deer, foxes, and pileated woodpeckers. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of 156 acres to create the public land in 2024 (combined with a donation of 44 acres from RRCT).
