Thayer Brook

Royal River Conservation Trust’s 147-acre Thayer Brook Preserve in Gray abuts and contains sections of Thayer Brook and a large 60-acre beaver flowage with exceptional bird and wildlife values. Visitors can explore a short segment of a regional snowmobile and ATV trail as well as mountain bike and hiking trails integrated with the adjacent Libby Hill Forest. The Land for Maine’s Future Board supported the acquisition of Thayer Brook in 2023.
